Journalists showed the new Armored Core 6 gameplay and shared some details

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon from Fromsoftware – a r -loading of a series in which unique quirks of fights on furs are combined with the philosophy of game design of the studio: smooth control, extensive and dynamic cards, original, complex actions that require a player of ingenuity.

Now, on the eve of the release of the game in August, journalists shared their impressions of the presentation of the gameplay from the leading producer Yasunori Ogura. The demonstration was one mission from the early part of the game, but gave a clear idea of how combat and research actions will unfold, as well as the importance of customization.

It is worth noting that rumors about this demonstration appeared last week.

Using the unique mobility of the furs, players can jump and fly through huge surrounding spaces (while acceleration allows).

This vertical also allows you to diversify the approaches to each mission depending on the loading of the fur. Players can, for example, fly to the goal or approach it on foot on the bridge, scanning the environment in advance for the presence of enemies. An extensive, open level design also contrasts with complex, claustoprophobic interiors, offering linear, winding corridors from pipes, steam and metal.

As it turned out, death does not lead to a loss of currency, and players can be restarted from control points in the middle of the mission. Here, as before the missions, players can bother with their equipment and freely change the details of the case, such as the head, nucleus, arms and legs, as well as internal details for weapons and nutrition. Four types of weapons (as well as shields) can be installed on the hands and shoulders, while parts of the legs will have the greatest impact on mobility. The number of details, sensors and numbers that must be taken into account seems exorbitantly large, but customization is one of the main features of the series, and Fires of Rubicon looks like it could well be realized.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will be released on August 25 on the PlayStation consoles (with free update from PS4 to PS5), Xbox (with Smart Delivery delivery) and PC (via Steam).
