The creators of Green Hell, Poles from the Creepy Jar studio, do not intend to refuse survival games

Last week, a press conference was held on the financial position of the Polish studio Creepy Jar and the company’s plans. From presentation and communication with investors, we learned details about the upcoming games of the Polish studio.

The studio is currently working on a cooperative survival game called Chimera. According to the developers, it is already on "Halfway" and should go into early access in 2024. According to the representative of the company, the completion of work in the first half of 2024 will give the studio more information about the state of the project and its readiness to release. In addition, on the eve of the release, the diaries of developers will be released, which will help players get to know the mechanics and universe Chimera.

It is impossible not to mention that the continuation of the heat of Green Hell’s game accepted at one time will be released. There is little about it, except that it will also be a survival game, although Creepy Jar notes that this is a fairly common genre, and some attribute Dying Light to it. Therefore, it is possible that in the second part the plot will be slightly changed compared to the first.

However, the developers are not going to abandon the original Green Hell – they outlined the future of this game for survival. Free updates adding new content will continue to go out for the game. They will become slightly less than before, and will come out more often.

Now the developers will focus on Green Hell adaptation for the current generation consoles (PS5 and XSX/S). Porting is at a very early stage, and it is expected that the work will take about six months.

Creepy Jar also published its financial report for the third quarter of 2023. It shows from it that recently the company’s affairs are not very good. Net profit amounted to 6.3 million. zloty (approximately $ 1.6 mil.), which is 41% less compared to the same period last year. At the same time, Green Hell’s total sales were also low: 260 thousand were sold. copies, which led to a drop in income from the game by 39% compared to the III quarter of 2022.
